Wintergreen Ski Resort In Virginia

Wintergreen Ski Resort is located 43 miles southwest of Charlottesville, Va., in the Blue Ridge Mountains. It offers numerous activities for the whole family all year round. The mountain itself has a top elevation of 4,000 ft., and a 1,000 ft. vertical rise. It offers 26 trails, with the longest run being 1.4 miles. Out of all of these runs, there are numerous choices for skiers of all experience levels. It provides steep drops and chutes for the experienced skier and family friendly beginners slopes for those with children. 14 of the slopes are equipped with lights for night skiing. They also boast some of the most advanced snow making equipment around.
